LIVE DAM Ai × piapro Karaoke Background Illustration Contest
piapro is collaborating with LIVE DAM Ai to bring us a karaoke background illustration contest! The main promotional visual for the contest was provided by まおう / Maou.
Contest Period
5:00 PM on November 6, 2019 to 5:00 PM on January 13, 2020 (all times JST)
Contest Theme
“Live Performances”
Number of Winners and Prizes
200 entries will be selected to win. From among those 200:
1 grand prize winner will receive ￥100,000 JPY and an A4 tapestry made from their illustration
3 runner up winners will receive ￥30,000 JPY and an A4 tapestry made from the grand prize winning entry
Rules
You must have an account with piapro, which you can sign up for here.
Characters allowed in your entry
Hatsune Miku, Kagamine Rin, Kagamine Len, Megurine Luka, MEIKO, and KAITO
You entry can include any one character or multiple ones.
Entry size
At least 1920 px wide by 1080 px tall (aspect ratio: 16:9)
File format
JPEG or PNG
Resolution
At least 300 dpi
Tag
Make sure to tag your entry with “ＤＡＭ２０２０＿イラスト” when uploading, and then tag lock ( タグロック ) when the upload is complete
Cautionary Points
Make sure to not select licensing (ライセンス) for your upload
Make sure not to add any text to your entry. The only allowed text are the logo numbers on each character’s arm in their official design
No entries with derivative characters (e.g. Snow Miku, Mikudayo) will be allowed
Allowed outfit designs:
– official box art outfits
– variations of the official box art outfits
– your own original design
Outfits designs that are NOT allowed:
– Character outfits that were introduced in video games, manga, or anime
The contest organizers may crop your illustration entry if they deem necessary
