Food & Desserts
-On the first menu sheet, we can see ぐるくま ‘s (Gurukuma’s) “Everyone together!! Sakura Miku O-Hanami Bento”, and we can see that it contains white rice and scrambled egg, “Sakura Denpu” (pink fish floss, which is finely shredded, seasoned fish which is coloured pink, wieners in the shape of octopuses, cheese, tomato, vegetable-filled tamagoyaki (rolled omelette), karaage (deep fried) chicken, lettuce, ham and edamame beans! As shown in the image, the bento comes in a pretty little box, and the lid has one of the official cafe collaboration illustrations on it! – ¥1,000 (all prices include tax). (Art by 芳野サク)
-Next is the adaptation of Zuu‘s “Sakura Miku Full Bloom Chazuke”! This one certainly looks fancy, and it consists of white rice, salmon, salmon flakes, “Yurine” (or “lily bulb”, an edible bulb which is said to be crunchy and sweet), spring onion, “Shibazuke” (Kyoto- style chopped vegetables, pickled in salt with red shiso leaves) and tea. As well as this, there is salt pickled sakura in a small dish, as well as dashi (a japanese soup stock), nori (seaweed) and “arare” (roasted mochi pieces). You’ll pour the tea over the rice to finish preparing this delicious dish! – ¥1,100
-Third Down the menu is the “Miku-san Green Soba”, originally designed by キノ (Kino)! Here we have “Cha-soba” (buckwheat soba noodles infused with green tea), spring onion, wakame (a softer type of seaweed) and “Yaki Kama” (grilled fish collar). It also appears to have an edible (?) motif of Miku on top! – ¥1,000
-The final item on this page is the perfectly recreated “Meiko Burger”, designed by 夜明ほしこ (Yoake Hoshiko). It’s a cheeseburger with a red-coloured bun and a Meiko flag on top! There are also potato wedges and lettuce on the side, as well as Meiko’s name written in ketchup on the plate. – ¥1,000
-Up next is “Luka’s Seafood Plate” from ふぇーりす (Felis)! For this you can expect seafood “tarako” pasta (“tarako” meaning cod roe), tuna on bruschetta bread, clam chowder and lettuce. A must-try for seafood fans at ¥1,100.
-Kagamine-themed sandwiches anyone? ヤマネ (Yamane) designed the “Rin and Len Getting-Along Picnic Combo”, with two types of sandwiches: one egg one and one peach filled one! Furthermore, there is also lettuce, carrots, pineapple and orange on the side, as well as a “monaka” – a wafer cake filled with azuki (red bean) jam! – ¥1,000
-Next come the desserts! The “Sakura Miku Dual Coloured Parfaits” from 7:24 look stunning! They both contain “kanten” (agar-agar gelatin), whipped cream, matcha whipped cream, cookies, chocolate, cornflakes and three-colour dango (small rice flour dumpling) sticks. One has strawberry ice cream, and one has matcha ice cream, so choose your favourite! – ¥850 per parfait.
-Our second dessert is an interesting one, as it’s a dish inspired by かしゅー ‘s (Kashuu’s) “Mochimochi Shiratama ZenZai” and へこぽん ‘s (Hekopon’s) “Sakura Miku Fuwa Fuwa Hidden Home Dorayaki”. There’s a tiny cute dorayaki with a cherry inside and “shiratama anmitsu” (shiratama are rice flour dumplings, while anmitsu is typically a combination of bean jam, agar cubes, boiled beans, fruit pieces and syrup). There is also a tiny sakura mochi, as well as a sakura-shaped “nerikiri” (a sweet made from azuki paste wrapped in a layer of white bean paste mixed with mochi, which can be made into pretty shapes!), whipped cream and sakura sauce. – ¥850
-That brings us to the final dessert item; this one is a mixture of the designs by リーフ (riifu) and 恢斗(Kaito), with the “Kaito’s Highly Recommended Ice Cream Waffles!” As the name suggests, we have waffles, blueberry and mango sauce, ramune (lemon/lime soda) ice cream, an ice cream cone, a soybean sheet, another “monaka”, whipped cream, powdered sugar and “arazan” (silver dragees). – ¥850
Drinks
-And on the last menu, we have… the drinks! In the top left, we have a “Sakura Miku Soda” based on the designs by 水っぽいスープ (Koorippoi Soup) and うごちゃん (Ugochan). It has sakura syrup, soda, peach jelly, and cherries inside! The drink costs ¥650, but if you’d like to keep the souvenir bottle, you’ll have to pay an extra ¥1,100 on top of that.
-On the right hand side is our first hot drink – the “O-Hanami Amazake Milk Tea”, designed by ia. Inside is amazake (a non alcoholic type of drink) and milk, sakura syrup and strawberry syrup with whipped cream on top and salt pickled sakura. – ¥600.
– R_pro_09‘s “Sakura Miku Miku Mi-cream Soda” looks amazing, especially with the Miku twin tails (presumably made from paper or card, and attached with toothpicks). Inside is melon soda, with whipped cream, vanilla ice cream, a cherry on top and monaka. – ¥600
-Fans of Meiko might want to try the “Meiko’s Sangria-like Cranberry Juice” for ¥600, which contains cranberry juice and mixed berries! (Design by 茶だんご (Chadango)).
-One of the most impressive drinks here would definitely be the “Attakappuccino”, designed by 氷菓子(カナ). I’s a cappuccino but with an edible film with an image of Kaito’s coat on it! I definitely want to try it… – ¥600
-For Rin and Len we have the “Kirakira” drinks, based on the original design by あみる (Amiru). Rin’s one has orange juice, orange jelly, real pieces of orange, while Len’s on the other hand has pineapple soda, pineapple, real pieces of pineapple. Both have whipped cream, chocolate and sprinkles though! It’s kind of weird that they chose pineapple for Len though. I wish they’d done something banana related. – ¥600 each.
-Last but by no means least, we have the decadent- looking “Luka’s Iced Ichigo-Ore”. It has milk, strawberry syrup, strawberries, whipped cream and chocolate sauce on top! アメタコ (Ametako) did an amazing job with designing it too!
Free gifts
But hold on a minute, that’s not all I have for you! For every order, you’ll get one of these coasters!
Each one uses one of the official illustrations for the collaboration! Remember that you get them randomly, so you won’t get to choose. They’re all super cute though, so this shouldn’t matter too much.
And if you were upset that our other Piapro friends didn’t get coasters – you’re in luck!
“Coaster Present Campaign”
If you spend at least ¥2,000 on food, drinks and merchandise (for information about merch, check out my newer article here), then you’ll receive one of these special coasters too! Again, these will be given out randomly, so you can’t choose which one you want.
Ahh, isn’t it all so exciting? Make sure you check out my previous related articles to find out more information about the café locations, and compare the final menu items to their original designs. I’m slightly disappointed that we didn’t get a Rin-themed dessert, but there’s still lots of exciting food to try out, so I’m definitely happy nonetheless.
Thanks for reading!
