Hatsune Miku x KODO Special Live 2020 Announced

The third collaboration performance with Hatsune Miku and KODO has been announced! The next event is titled This is Nippon Premium Theater ~Musubi~ Hatsune Miku x KODO Special Live 2020.

Here’s some commentary from the famed producer himself on this honor that you can find on the event’s homepage!

“Ever since I first watched the Hatsine Miku x KODO Special Live in 2017, I’ve been wanting to make a song featuring taiko drums in it, capturing the amazing intensity of a taiko performance.”

“Then a few years later, I get a request completely out of the blue from the Hatsune Miku x KODO group themselves to make a song.”

“After feeling that intensity from a KODO performance throughout 2017 and 2018, I never thought that I would ever get such a request that I longed for. Now I’m able to put all that vigor into writing an appropriate song for them.”

“I wrote this song to carry both the sense of unity and physicality that KODO performance have, as well as let the listener get the sensation of feeling intensely hot wind. Please look forward to hearing it!”
