The Miku Day livestream for Project SEKAI Colorful Stage! feat. Hatsune Miku was aired on March 9, 2020 from 8:00 PM to 9:30 PM (JST), and is presently still available for viewing here:

Hosted by Saki Fujita and Ruriko Noguchi, and with AkinaHinata Satou, and Daisuke Hirose appearing as guests, they recapped a bunch of information about the upcoming mobile rhythm and adventure game, and revealed new information as well! Here’s a summary of the new stuff!

Character Introduction

During the livestream, we got to see the character introduction video for Ichika Hoshino, which begins at 40:18 in the video. It gives us an even better idea of how the Live2D animation works with the characters to make them animate!

Is everyone enjoying themselves?
I’m Ichika Hoshino, the guitarist and vocalist for Leo/need. Thank you for coming to watch our show.
Um…
That’s my best shot at an on-air greeting, but what else should an MC talk about…
Oh, my hobbies?
Hobbies, huh… I don’t really have any in particular…
Ah, I do listen to Miku songs a lot. I really like them.

They promise that more introductions will be revealed on the official Project SEKAI Twitter account, so be sure to keep an eye on it!

Character Card Illustrations

The livestream revealed a few of illustrations for character cards that will be featured in the game, likely acquirable through gacha! Here’s what they show us starting at 47:37

Once again, keep an eye on the Project SEKAI Twitter account as they reveal more!

3DMV Prediction Campaign

Remember how we were “challenged” to guess the songs for the 3D music videos that would be revealed during the livestream?

The first three were easy given how they were partially revealed before. But the livestream still managed to surprise us with FIVE songs starting at 54:15! Here they are:

ロキ / Roki by みきとP / MikitoP

Happy Synthesizer by EasyPop

劣等上等 / BRING IT ON by ギガP / GigaP

Tell Your World by kz(livetune)

Speaking of 3D music videos, we were reminded that players can freely switch both the characters and the outfits that they wear when they appear in the music video!

2D Play Mode

We were then also reminded of the 2D play mode in which only a still image from the song’s PV will appear so that players can concentrate on the gameplay.

Here are the newly announced songs that have been confirmed for 2D play mode!

Tell Your World by kz(livetune)

Doctor=Funk Beat by nyanyannya

Happy Synthesizer by EasyPop

**Blessing by halyosy

**These two songs haven’t been confirmed for 3D play with music videos, but even during the livestream, there were comments from fans asking that videos be made for them, prompting Hinata Satou to even address their concerns in her best English!
