Sakura Miku x Hirosaki Cherry Blossom Festival 2020 Collaboration Announced
Just like last year, Hirosaki City and Sakura Miku will be collaborating to welcome the spring season!
First, it has been confirmed that an illustration of Sakura Miku by iXima will grace the April 1 cover of the Kouhou Hirosaki.
And here are the other beautiful springtime illustrations that will be used in the collaboration!

These illustrations will even be featured on various Kudopan products that will be available starting today, March 24!

Sakura Miku Character Card Sleeves
In related news, both iXima and Akiyoshi’s new Sakura Miku illustrations, as well as the illustrations for last spring’s collaboration by iXima, Borubone, daidou, and 栗栖 歳 / Toshi Kurisu, will be used for character card sleeves from Ensky to go on sale on May 29! One pack contains 65 of these sleeves, 67 x 92 mm in size.

Sports Hochi has announced that iXima’s Sakura Miku will grace the cover of their latest issue, and it’ll even include a foldout poster featuring another Sakura Miku illustration by U35 / Umiko! Included in the publication will be an interview with the two artists, as well as 2 postcards with their illustrations on them!
The magazine will be available for purchase at Lawson convenience stores across the six prefectures of the Tohoku Region. It will also be available on the NSI Online Shop for ¥1,100 JPY!
**UPDATE ON APRIL 28, 2020**
The Japan Post is now taking pre-orders for Sakura Miku stamps using illustrations from the 2019 and 2020 collaborations with the Hirosaki Cherry Blossom Festival!
Each sheet comes with ten ¥84 JPY stamps, costing ¥1,500 JPY per sheet. They are planned for release on May 5 at 35 select Hirosaki City post office locations.
