Saya Scarlet Celebrates Hatsune Miku’s 13th Anniversary with a Collaborative Video Medley
Many fans all over the world celebrated Miku’s 13th anniversary on August 31, 2020 in a variety of ways. Some shared fan art, some shared songs, and some shared photos of cosplay, figures, Miku arts and crafts, and much more. As long as it was to share their love of Miku to the world, anything was fair game.
And there were some mega fans like Saya Scarlet who did a little of everything! A look at her social media accounts show her uploading new cosplay photos, new song and dance covers, livestreaming, and reintroducing her fan art to the world in the days leading up to and on Miku’s 13th birthday! If loving Miku were a competition, she’d be a front-runner for sure!
☆Hatsune Miku Anniversary medley with fans from all over the world☆
This year, however, she had another ambitious project to celebrate the birth of Miku. That would be a video project for a 20-minute medley of Miku fandom that drew over 150 participants!
More than just a simple song medley or artwork montage, the video showcases the works of each participant, expressing their love of Miku in their own individual way, be it through fan art, through singing, through dancing, through cosplay, through figure photos, through animations, or through showing off their Miku shrines!
Just like the whole of the fandom, everything was fair game, and the finished product turned out to be a lovely tribute to the digital diva. You can watch the whole video below!
