Celebrate Christmas with the Tohoku Sisters and Cute Merchandise!
Zunko and Itako have already been enjoying the festive season in style, what with their recent collab with mobile game “Venus Eleven Vivid”, and now we can enjoy an even cozier Christmas with the Tohoku sisters! MOVE, a specialist in fun and often otaku-aimed glass products, have started their crowdfunder on CAMPFIRE, a Japanese crowdfunding platform, in order to bring us their latest selection of fantastic vocal-synth glassware products. Crowdfunder description:
“The official Christmas illustration for the Tohoku sisters will be turned into decorative glasses and delivered to customers by Christmas Eve! This time, we want to give fans a “feeling of having a Christmas party at home with the Zunko sisters”, which, especially with COVID making it harder to spend time with friends and family, is a good way to bring us a bit of festive cheer this holiday season!
The company working on these products, “MOVE”, also had a similar crowdfunder in 2017 where they successfully launched a series of glasses featuring Zunko, Itako and Kiritan thanks to the support of their fans. They use their method of sandblasting to create wonderful character goods which are both practical and beautiful.

The funds pledged will be used for the sake of
- Raw materials to produce the glasses
- Manufacturing costs
- Shipping costs, among other things
Since this crowdfunder uses an “all-in” system, even if the main target isn’t reached, there will still be some sort of reward for backers. And because the project will go ahead even without reaching 200,000 yen, they’ve already started working on the aspects of the project that they can, which will allow backers to receive their reward, hopefully by December 24th 2020.
