MIKU LAND β Winter World 2021 Coming Soon
We first covered the unveiling of MIKU LAND GATE β this June, and now an exciting winter version of the fantastic VR world is also on its way! Sponsored by Gugenka and Virtual Cast, this world was created as a way for fans of Hatsune Miku to enjoy an event from the comfort of their home, injecting a little more excitement into our daily lives. There’s plenty of fun to be had in MIKU LAND, so for more information as to the event, please read on!
Event details
This event is scheduled to begin from February 6-7, 2021! The overall theme continuing throughout each MIKULAND event is 近くのどこか、近くの未来 (“Near future at a location near you”).

What can you do in MIKU LAND?
During the event, you’ll be able to chat to other people in the online event space, buy merchandise and much more!

- piapro art wall – fanart posted to social media with the necessary hashtag 「#ミクランドアート」 (mikuland art) will be shown here

Live broadcast
During the event period, you will be able to see what the areas inside the VR world look like via an official live broadcast! This can be watched either via YouTube or NicoNicoDouga when the time comes!

Ice sculpture designs
MIKULAND is looking for people to submit their designs for ice sculptures to be shown in the virtual landscape! The winners will have their sculpture displayed in the virtual “Snow Globe Illuminations” area of MIKULAND.
- Application deadline: January 15th 2021
- Characters accepted: any piapro characters including Rabbit Yukine
- File formats accepted: .fbx, .obj or .gib
- Sculptures are assumed to be 3m x 3m x 3m
※Please zip the file before uploading it
※Create your design using no more than 10000 polygons
※Textures do not need to be used (the organisers will apply a snow texture)
※Do not include any bones or animations
Prizes available:
- piapro award – Hatsune Miku Plushie (usable with Holomodels)
- Virtual cast prize – Can Badge Clock (MIKULAND SNOW WORLD 2021 ver. – usable for VCI)
- Gugenka Prize – Yukine room slippers (usable with Holomodels)
- Tsukumo Prize – Yukine mask with additional mask holder (usable with Holomodels)
For anyone wanting to join in with this competition, you’ll need to head to this page and click on the white button to say that you agree to the terms and conditions of the competition. Then click on the turquoise button to submit your entry via Googledocs.
You will need to fill in your
- Email address
- Your name (handles and usernames aren’t accepted)
- The file for your ice sculpture in the appropriate size and format.
Then all you need to do is submit your entry and hope for the best. Good luck to anyone submitting an entry!
