Project SEKAI Music Contest Round 1 Results
The first round of the ProSEKA song composition contests is now finished, and I’m happy to announce the results of it! This first contest ran from October 2nd to October 31st 17:00 JST, and the theme was “A song that creates tension”. Entrants were able to apply via Twitter using the hashtag #プロセカNEXT, and you can still check the tag on Twitter for to see the various entries!
So… who won exactly? Let’s find out!
Winner for the theme “A song that creates tension”
Song title:「Brand New Day」
Song by いるかアイス (@irucaice)
Time it’ll be available in-game: February 2021
Judges comments:
This is a song which is lively and has a high tempo from start to finish, and it was chosen because it matches the theme of “A song that creates tension” perfectly, with the exciting chorus, the bright tone, and positive lyrics that make you want to do your best for the future!
The winning song shown here will be added as a song which can be played in-game in 2D mode. The names of producers whose work is featured in the game will also be added to the game credits, and they will receive a 50,000 yen Amazon gift voucher! “Brand New Day” definitely seems like it’ll be a fast-paced song, one which will pose a challenge for even seasoned rhythm game players. I can’t wait to play it myself!
