Spend the New Year’s with ASOBINOTES ONLINE FEST 2nd
Fans may remember ASOBINOTES ONLINE FEST from earlier this year, and how Mirai Komachi even performed in is as a DJ!
Now ASOBINOTES ONLINE FEST 2nd (hereafter “AOF2”) will be held from December 31st, 2020 (New Year’s Eve) through January 1st, 2021 (New Year’s Day)! And not only will Mirai Komachi once again play a part in it, but so will Hatsune Miku this time around! Read on to learn how both virtual singers will be represented during AOF2!
About ASOBINOTES ONLINE FEST 2nd
AOF2 is an online music club event from ASOBINOTES, an entertainment label created by Bandai-Namco Entertainment, Inc. “Asobi” in Japanese means “play,” and thel label’s name reflects how it combines the principle of “sound” and “play” to deliver new forms of sound entertainment to fans.
AOF2 features four different “floors” for fans to choose from – Music, Game, Virtual, and Digital – each one going on simultaneously and offering different music entertainment for fans. Over 40 different big-name artists will be bringing their music talents to AOF2 for a night of nonstop fun to ring in the year 2021! The main visual for AOF2 was provided by famed artist Mika Pikazo, whom many VOCALOID fans may know as the official illustrator for Magical Mirai 2018 Hatsune Miku. Taking a look at the main visual below even reveals the famed piapro character among many other faces that may also be familiar, especially to fans of Bandai-Namco games!
Hatsune Miku at AOF2
colate’s DJ set
Miku’s music** will be featured during the DJ set for colate (MILK RING RECORDS) on AOF2’s Music Floor at 12:05 am (JST) on January 1, 2021, right after the countdown to the new year! colate’s name may sound familiar to whomever watched him perform with Miku during the HATSUNE MIKU DIGITAL STARS 2020 ONLINE DJ event. He will again be playing a fully Hatsune Miku music-only set at AOF2 at the start of the new year!

To purchase a ticket to the Music Floor (costing ￥3,500 JPY):
A. Visit the official site, and click on the Ticket tab at the top of the page
B. Scroll down the Section called “STEP 2 チケット購入 (Ticket Purchases)
C. In the MUSIC FLOOR box, click on the option クレジット購入 (credit card purchase), unless you have at least 3,182 BaNa coins in your ASOBINOTES account, in which case you can click on the second option
D. Enter the following information:
- 1. Your card number
- 2. Your card’s expiration date (month, then year)
- 3. Your card’s security code
- 4. Confirm information

Miku will also have official merchandise at AOF2 in the form of the “Asobi no Oto with Hatsune Miku” SONOCA card! It will feature two Miku covers of popular Bandai-Namco video game songs!

Mirai Komachi at AOF2
Then after Miku’s portion finishes, you can head on over to the Game Floor where Mirai Komachi will be performing her DJ set at 1:00 AM (JST) on January 1, 2021! She will also be accompanied by Hiroshi Okubo of Bandai-Namco’s sound design team.
Her performance will once again be powered by BanaDIVE™ AX technology, which you can read about here to see how it powered up Mirai Komachi’s show!
A video giving us a look at the ASOBISTAGE where she’ll be performing was even put online for viewers to see what else can be done! From this video can see options to:
- Customize your screen
- Set off fireworks
- Select and change your glowstick color
