New Text-to-Speech Voice Synthesis Software, A.I. VOICE from AI Inc.
AI Inc., the creators of the technology behind VOICEROID and gynoid Talk, first announced their next generation speech A.I. VOICE last month on December 18th, 2020. It uses their propriety AITalk technology and also their own created characters, Kotonoha Akane & Aoi, and Iori Yuzuru!
Pre-Order Campaign
A.I. VOICE banks are currently scheduled for release on February 22nd, 2021, and will be available for pre-order starting at 1:00 PM (JST) on Thursday, January 14th, 2021.
Those who pre-order early enough will even receive free acrylic stand (while supplies last) of their pre-ordered character!

We were also given a look at a 100 x 150 cm blanket bearing the characters’ box illustration! These will also become available for pre-order starting on January 14th, 2021!
Mini Voice Libraries
A.I. VOICE’s official twitter account also revealed new illustrations for Akane, Aoi and Yuzuru for what they are calling mini voice libraries named “A.I. VOICE Kotonoha Akane & Aoi (Tsubomi)” and “A.I. VOICE Iori Yuzuru (Mei).”
Little else is known about about these voice libraries, but look forward to more as we learn it.
Demo Video
A demo video was recently uploaded to A.I. VOICE’s official YouTube channel, and introduces us to the software!
This video is even narrated by Akane, Aoi, and Yuzuru themselves! In it, they go over:
- How to enter text for them to read
- How to adjust intonation and add pauses to make them sound more natural
- How to create a dictionary of words and their correct pronunciation and intonation for terms that they cannot read
- How to use voice effects like volume, speech speed, pitch, accent and more
- How to adjust their speech style to make them speak with emotion (happy, angry, sad, etc.), and how you can preset their parameters, save them, and easily drag and drop them in the speech area for immediate use
- How you can use Voice Fusion to make one character talk like another character
- How you can save and share your finished project files to share with others
It’s all very fascinating stuff that should get viewers itching to try the software for themselves!
