Miku Tap 1 Year Anniversary BGM Contest Starts Now
As you may have guessed from the title, soon we’ll have reached the one year milestone since mobile game Miku Tap was first released! As a game which began by recruiting fans to submit their songs to be featured, it’s no surprise that even more works would be added for this momentous event in the game’s history!

Submission Guidelines & Details

- Theme: “Summer” – the song needs to be one which makes the game exciting and gives the feeling of being at a live show!
- Vocalists: Hatsune Miku needs to be the main vocalist – voice packages including V3, V4X, NT, Append, English and Hatsune Miku Chinese are fine to use. Kagamine Rin/Len, Megurine Luka, MEIKO and KAITO can be used for a chorus and/or for sub vocals if you wish.
- Prizes: Your song will be featured as BGM in Hatsune Miku -TAP WONDER-.
- Number of winners: 5
- Application period: From March 1st ~ May 10th 2021 at 17:00
- Post format: MP3
- Song length: up to 5 minutes in length
- Submissions must be uploaded to piapro with the tag “ＴＡＰＷＯＮＤＥＲ＿ＢＧＭ＿ＨＡＰＰＹ, then tag locked (タグロック)
- You can make as many submissions as you like within the time frame

Cautionary Points
- Entries created by companies are not allowed.
- If multiple people have worked on your entry, please provide the contact information of one person selected as your group’s representative.
- Make sure to not change your email address after completing your entry.
- You are solely responsible if claims are filed against your entry for infringing on the rights of any third party. The contest organizers bear no responsibility.
- Your entry must be an original work that has never been uploaded online before or used in other contests.
- On the final day of submitting competition entries, the website may face an influx of entries which can cause delays to uploading posts. Therefore, please try to upload entries slightly earlier than October 26th, 2020 to avoid this. Anything posted after the entry deadline will NOT be eligible for participation.
- Entries and their information (titles, descriptions, etc.) cannot be modified after the deadline.
- Any entry that is not displayed on the entry list page has not been accepted by the contest organizers. Please make sure to follow all submission rules.
- Your nickname that will be displayed with your entry will be the one that you set at the licensing step. If a name is not set, then your piapro nickname and ID will be displayed instead.
Results are scheduled to be released in May 2021, so keep your eye out for news of this in due course! They will also be announced on the Piapro blog around the same time.
If you happen to be selected as the winner, you will receive an email ending with “@crypton.co.jp”, sent to the email address attached to your registered Piapro account. As mentioned before, the majority (if not all) correspondence will be in Japanese from there on, so please make sure that you are able to converse to a good enough degree with said language in the case that you win.
