Supporting Koharu Rikka on Social Media
Koharu Rikka has been released on March 18, 2021 for Synthesizer V, Synthesizer V AI, and CeVIO AI to critical acclaim! Already tons of songs, talk videos, illustrations and other works have been released for the first ever voice synth from TOKYO6 ENTERTAINMENT, and we couldn’t be more proud of them!
Perhaps you would like to get in on all the Rikka excitement on social media as well. In that case, TOKYO6 has laid out of few simple instructions for how they would like fans to tag their Rikka works on Twitter, and what kind of content they would like to see! Read on for a summary of each!
Twitter Hashtags
Here’s how to get not only more fans seeing your uploaded works on Twitter, but also getting TOKYO6 staff members seeing and sharing them!
#小春六花
This is the most general hashtag for Rikka – using her full name in Japanese – that can be used for any tweet and content uploads related to her. For overseas fans who are more used to typing in romaji, we also suggest using #KoharuRikka for your tweets about her!
#六花ギャラリー
This hashtag – read as “Rikka gallery” – has been used ever since Rikka’s design was first unveiled, and TOKYO6 would like us to continue using it for any illustration or artwork uploaded for Rikka!
#毎月6日は六花の日
Now we get to one of the more recently created hashtags for Rikka on social media.
This hashtag is read as ‘Maitsuki muika wa Rikka no hi‘, meaning “The sixth of every month is Rikka Day“. As you can probably tell from its meaning, this hashtag is to be used when it is the sixth of every month, and can be used with any tweet related to Rikka on those days!
This practice has begun when the clock struck midnight on April 6, 2021 in Japan. However, even after the 6th ends in Japan, fans from other countries where it is still the 6th can continue using the tag with uploads of their Rikka works.
As a bit of trivia, Akasakov – Rikka’s creator – first used a poll to ask fans whether they would like to use this tag, or another one that would celebrate Rikka on any day of the month that has a 6 in it, which would include the 16th and 26th.
In the end, the option to just celebrate Rikka on the 6th of each month won out, so that’s the official practice now!
#小春六花写真部
Here’s another new hashtag that was recently decided on, read as “Koharu Rikka Shashinbu” and meaning “Koharu Rikka’s Photography Club“!
To use this tag, use your smartphone or other device to snap a scenic photo of any location that you can picture Rikka being in. You can upload just the photo itself with a description of how you picture Rikka being in it, or you can even upload the photo along with an illustration or MikuMikuDance model of Rikka actually in it! (You can download her MMD model at the bottom of the webpage here!)
However, if there are other people in your photo, make sure to get permission from them to upload the photo online, or blur out or otherwise obscure their faces so that no privacy issues arise later on.
Similar to the other new tag, Akasakov made a poll to gauge interest, asking if people would participate in such a project if it were to become a thing. He also added that this project would mainly be just for fun, although it could develop in some kind of contest in the future.
The poll concluded with the number of people interested in participating winning out, so now we got another avenue of Rikka fandom going!
Akasakov also tweeted that the inspiration behind this project came from the Ura no Hoshi Photography Club project for LoveLive! Sunshine!! He had the pleasure of visiting Numazu City where he took part in stamp rallies, searching for the pop-up character displays, etc. and felt inspired to try and start something similar for Rikka.
Granted, Rikka does not yet have a city to regularly collaborate with like Tohoku Zunko has with Shiroishi City or Kyomachi Seika has with Seika Town, which is why he asks that we find any scenic spot near where we live to snap and post photos of. Of course, one never knows what the future holds, so if we contribute to this campaign enough, we may see a big city-wide project started for Rikka someday!
Akasakov plans on introducing people’s photos and more on a May 22 livestream, so look forward to the show and possibly seeing your work featured in it!
