Make Your Design For Miku’s Nendoroid Doll Costume a Reality
Right back in April we covered the newest broadcast of the biannual “Snow Miku no Jikan” (Snow Miku Time) held by GoodSmile Company, and as we mentioned there briefly, this year marks the 3rd anniversary of the Nendoroid Doll series of figures from them!
Nendoroid Doll Hatsune Miku (as well as her Nendoroid Doll: Outfit Set, sold separately) was released in 2020, and has subsequently captured the hearts of fans who’ve enjoyed taking photos out and about with her, and who’ve even gone to the effort of making their own adorable clothing for the dolls! You’ll no doubt see plenty of budding photographers on social media who love their Miku Nendoroid doll, and you might even be one of them! As an example of just what people get up to with their Miku, why not check out twitter user inamura (@y_arumani) :
But either way, the reason we’re bringing this up is because the newest contest on piapro is to design your own unique Nendoroid Doll costume for Miku! If you want to see Miku dolls (or even other characters) across the world in a costume you devised, then this is your chance! Find out how to enter below.

Cautionary Points
- Amount of submissions allowed: one entrant can enter as many times as they like, but only one entry can be chosen to win at the end of the competition overall.
- Licensing: Do NOT set a license for your entry. Licenses cannot be changed after posting your entry, so the only way to change this would be to delete and re-upload your entry
- Your entry must NOT have been published anywhere else or entered into any other previous competitions.
- The final day of submitting competition entries, the website may face an influx of entries which can cause delays to uploading posts. Therefore please try to upload entries slightly earlier than July 26th 2021 to avoid this. Anything posted after the entry deadline will NOT be eligible for participation.
- It might be necessary for the contest organizers to crop your design.
- It might be necessary for the contest organizers to shorten or omit your entry title.
- Entries must be the work of a single individual; entries created by companies or a group of people are not allowed.
- Make sure to not change your email address after completing your entry.
- You are solely responsible if claims are filed against your entry for infringing on the rights of any third party. The contest organizers bear no responsibility.
- Your nickname that will be displayed with your entry will be the one that you set at the licensing step. If a name is not set, then your piapro nickname piapro ID will be displayed instead.
- Anyone underage will need permission from a parent or guardian to join in with the competition. Being “underage” should depend on the law where you live, since the page lists “18” as being an adult, while “20” is cited as the age of becoming an adult in Japan.
- If you are selected to win, all following correspondence will be in Japanese. Hence why you will most probably need to have a reasonable knowledge of the language if you decide to enter the competition (you may be consulted about any potential alterations to the design etc. so please be keep this in mind).
Results will be announced at some point in November 2021, so make sure to keep your eyes out for news of this! We look forward to seeing everyone’s designs coming in over the course of the next month or so.
