New Hatsune Miku Motif PC Glasses – Using Your PC Just Got More Fun!
By now, all our fellow bespectacled vocal synth fans should be familiar with Washin Palette, a Japanese glasses company who’ve been bringing us wonderfully chic character-themed eyeglasses for a while now! Most recently we heard about the announcement of a new set of frames from Washin Palette’s “Adatto” range, where people were recruited to draw illustrations of Hatsune Miku wearing them! Winners for that contest can be seen here, but for now we’re going to move onto their newest set of glasses – the “MIKU-005” pair.
※The following translations are all unofficial.
The design
Up til now, Washin Palette have released a variety of collaboration glasses featuring the piapro characters, including some for Kagamine Rin and Len, and a variety of Miku ones for various occasions! But these PC glasses, but these glasses are said to be a top recommended product, due to their understated design which works for any situation!
Main highlights of the MIKU-005 set:
- Point 1: Frames are made of a 4-layer structure stripes of (black, pink, black, blue), resulting in a rather unusual design!
- Point 2: Miku’s necktie (from her V4x design) is featured on the arms of the glasses
- Point 3: The nose parts are adjustable, unlike with previous models of Miku glasses!
Main visual
This time, the main illustration for the product was created by artist 堀泉インコ / incoty
Featuring Miku in an adorably fashionable co-ord, the slightly washed-out watercolour-style background really makes her character stand out, also (potentially) directing your attention to the glasses she’s wearing, which are indeed the ones being advertised here! The design shown will be used for everything, from packaging to glasses cleaning cloths.
