Novel Adaptation of VOCALOID Song “Good-bye Sengen” Hits Shelves Soon
It was recently revealed that the popular song from producer Chinozo, “Goodbye-Sengen” – originally featuring VOCALOID v flower – would be getting a novel adaptation:
The song, since its release, has been the recipitent of numerous VOCALOID, Utaite and VTuber covers, all of which illustrates just how popular the song has become with fans! If you haven’t heard it yet, make sure to check out the original here:
Having managed to reach the Hall of Fame in terms of VOCALOID songs (due to its view count), it’s no wonder a novellised version was commissioned! Find out more below.

Story

“Even if I didn’t get the credits, just turning up to school is better than nothing.
But I guess… If I just get on with my studies like a good kid, then go to a university like all the others, I’ll go on to becoming a salaryman or something……
As I shut myself in at home, lazing around, that is what I imagined would happen to me in the future – I’d live this boringly average life.
But during that last spring of our third year at high school, I met you – someone with such innocence, more determined than anyone to achieve their dream.
I was entranced.
You, who’s aiming to become a star in Hollywood, and me, fed up with the tedium of each passing, average day.
I thought things would always be the same, but my life began to change once I found myself standing on stage at the school festival with you – someone I thought I’d never have the chance to meet… someone, the complete opposite of myself.”
