6th TOKYO6 Livestream News Roundup
TOKYO6 ENTERTAINMENT hosted their 6th livestream on May 20, 2022, their first one since October last year! Considering all that has happened in the past year, and all that they plan for the future, there was a lot of information to digest, including brand new announcements and even voice samples for Hanakuma Chifuyu.

Upcoming Update to Synthesizer V AI Koharu Rikka
Of course TOKYO6 intends to keep up the momentum, starting with the announcement of a new update for Rikka’s Synthesizer V AI bank.
This upcoming update will add the Vocal Mode section options from the Synthesizer V Studio 1.6.0 update that users of Ryo, Kevin, Saki, Qing Su and Stardust already enjoy. This means that soon, Rikka users will also be able to choose from a variety of vocal styles to enhance her range of expression in their songs. Aoyama revealed that she even participated in additional recording sessions just two days after Rikka’s 1st LIVE for this latest update, creating even more recorded song material such as vibrato clips.
No release date for this update was given, but it will be free for all users. They also assured us that Karin and Chifuyu will be getting these features in due time as well. Look forward to more announcements as they are made.
Koharu Rikka 1st LIVE! Digest Video
Starting at 39:20 into the livestream, viewers were treated to a digest version of the Koharu Rikka 1st LIVE! concert with live commentary from the voice actresses watching. This was a great treat for fans who were unable to watch the concert in-person or online, and it’s also good for any fans who want to relive the excitement of the event even after the official archive** gets taken offline.

Hanakuma Chifuyu Crowdfunding Campaign Details
And then came the announcement that many fans have been waiting for: new info on the crowdfunding campaign for CeVIO AI Talk and Synthesizer V AI Hanakuma Chifuyu!
Here are the initial details as shown during the livestream.
Start/End Times and Goals
・Crowdfunding is scheduled to start on Ubgoe on June 26, 2022 at 21:00 JST, during the next TOKYO6 livestream
・It is scheduled to end on July 26, 2022 at 23:59 JST, lasting just one month
・Goals:
- 1st goal: ¥6 million JPY, confirms development of Chifuyu’s CeVIO AI Talk and Synthesizer V AI voices
- 2nd goal: ¥8 million, confirms development of 800 Pitagoe voice samples to be included in Chifuyu’s products
- Final goal: ¥10 million JPY, confirms creation of Chifuyu’s official 3D model by つみだんご / Tsumidango, and one additional demo song
- For every ￥3 million JPY raised beyond the final goal, one new demo song and tachi-e illustration will be created

VOICEPEAK Project
Akasakov also briefly mentioned during the livestream that TOKYO6 has been developing something for VOICEPEAK.
Akasakov first acknowledges that VOICEPEAK is a very splendid talk synth product, and that many fans are probably wondering if Rikka, Karin and Chifuyu could someday have VOICEPEAK banks. He then mentioned that TOKYO6 is bound by contract to make only Synthesizer V song voices and CeVIO AI talk voices for their characters for the first 2 years after their product releases. After 2 years, however, the possibility for them to be developed for other software opens up.
With all that said, until then, TOKYO6 still plans to work further with CeVIO Project and Techno-Speech as they continue to develop the CeVIO software, and make the CeVIO AI talk banks for Rikka, Karin and Chifuyu as good as they can be. Fans should continue to stay tuned for more information on this surprise development!
Koharu Rikka Birthday Celebrations
Throughout the livestream, celebratory birthday fan art and songs for Koharu Rikka’s 2022 birthday on May 16 were shown. These were submitted by fans on Twitter using the hashtags #小春六花誕生祭2022 and #TOKYO6生放送使用可 to indicate that they can be featured on the livestream.

Incidentally, the previous day, May 15, 2022 was also Aoyama Yoshino’s 26th birthday! They even celebrated with a cake for both birthday girls that you can see along with other birthday celebrations on social media!
The number 6 is significant to TOKYO6, and they no doubt made their 6th livestream one to remember, featuring many expected and unexpected announcements for fans to get excited about.
