Koenji Awa Odori Kikusuiren × A.I.VOICE Collaboration Event
The Koenji Awa Odori Festival will soon be taking place again after a long hiatus, and this time around, the awa odori troupe known as Kikusuiren is teaming up with A.I.VOICE characters for a one-of-a-kind event! Learn about how Yuzuki Yukari, Kizuna Akari, and the Kotonoa sisters will be livening up the return of this traditional festival!

- Awa Odori performances held from 15:00 through 15:30, and from 16:30 through 17:00 JST

About Kikusuiren
Kikusuiren is an awa odori dance troupe active in the Koenji temple district. Founded in 1964, and with members as young as 3 years old and as elderly as 81 years old, they strive to carry on the tradition of awa odori into the future.
Kikusuiren’s leader states, “They (A.I.VOICE) reached out to us saying how they would like to collaborate with the traditional art of awa odori dance, and help revitalize the region. By holding a marketing event here at Kikusuiren’s home town of the Koenji Look Shopping District with characters dressed up in Kikusuiren garb, we’d like to offer this chance to bring back the energy and vigor of this town where we haven’t been able to hold the Tokyo Koenji Awa Odori Festival for three years due to COVID-19.”

Illustrations
Collaboration illustrations of Yuzuki Yukari and Kizuna Akari by 文倉十 / Ayakura Juu, and Kotonoha Akane and Kotonoha Aoi by 吉田ヨシツギ / Yoshida Yoshitsugi in awa odori garb will be used in promotional material and merchandise.
Like all official illustrations, these come with their own usage guidelines, so be sure to read the guidelines from A.I.VOICE, and those from VOCALOMAKETS.
How to Participate
For every ￥500 JPY spent on collaboration items at participating stores, participants will get 1 raffle ticket. Each ticket will be good for 1 draw for a chance to win collaboration character merchandise!
- A.I.VOICE software: Yuzuki Yukari, Kizuna Akari, Kotonoha Akane & Aoi, Iori Yuzuru, Unoka
- Acrylic block (10cm x 15cm x 2cm)
- Ecobag (430mm x 280mm)
- Hand fan (189.5 x 83.8mm, USB recharge port, runs for about 10 hours when fully charged)
- Other goods
- Consolation prizes: uchiwa fan and sticker

Furthermore, other collaboration merchandise will be on sale at the raffle site, such as the pictured instant photo-style acrylic keychains (￥1,000 JPY each)!

As one of A.I.VOICE’s first collaboration events (as opposed to events for just VOCALOMAKETS, or just the Kotonoha sisters), this is a very exciting one to keep your eye on. And with A.I.VOICE garnering more attention from the West lately – what with the release of Akane & Aoi English, the recent announcement of A.I.VOICE GUMI and creation of their English Twitter account – it is safe to say that their events are absolutely worth it for fans all over the world to pay close attention to for the possibility of seeing more internationalization of their brand!
