Korea and Japan Simultaneous Collaboration Cafe at MINT HEIM On Now

For Miku fans who will be in Korea and or Japan sometime soon, you might want to check out this new super cute collab cafe, which features a menu filled to the brim with minty goodness!

MINT HEIM has caught foodies by surprise, since the cafe exclusively serves things in the aforementioned flavour – the drinks, cakes and even the decor have been designed to provide guests with an all-encompassing mint experience, and who better to collaborate with them than our favourite mint-like-haired vocal synth, Hatsune Miku!

Private room hire

For fans who might prefer a more all-inclusive dining experience, Jiyugaoka Sweets Forest has private booths to hire! And what’s more, the booths themselves will be decorated for the collaboration with artist はむねずこ/ Hamunezuko‘s Miku illustrations!

As well as this, anyone who dines in the special private booths will receive one of 3 specially illustrated Miku acrylic stands at random. These are items which won’t be sold to the general public, and since the rooms can fit up to 4 people inside, your party might well get one of each!

Terms of use:

• You will be expected to order at least one collaboration menu item per person per booth.
• You will receive one acrylic stand per person in your party.
• The rooms can be booked for up to four people at a time, and will cost ￥2,000 for 1 hour.
• One person can book a private room up to once a day for maximum of 1 hour.
• Guests are asked to leave the private booth 5 minutes before their scheduled timeslot ends.
• Booking and Payment for the private booth can ONLY be made with credit card or PayPay via the website.
• Once you have successfully made a booking, you will not be able to cancel or change your chosen timeslot, so please take extra care to confirm what time you would like to visit.
• On the day of the booking, please arrive at the venue at your allocated time and show a member of staff your confirmation email.
• Private booths will not be available to book at MINT HEIM Hongdae.

Merchandise

At the Jiyugaoka Sweets Forest venue, there will be a selection of merchandise featuring the commissioned illustrations from はむねずこ/ Hamunezuko!
Items can be bought at the cafe venue on the day, although advance orders for items to be picked up at the cafe may still be available via the official online store (more info below).

Advance order (collection) information:

※As of writing, we have only been able to find information about merchandise advance orders and preorders for Japan. When we find more information, we will update this page.

• Advance acceptance period: 8/30 (Wednesday) 18:00 ~ 23:59 (JST) the day before you intend to collect
• Product pick-up acceptance: 9/8 (Friday) 11:00 – 9/14 (Thursday) 20:00 (JST)

Preorder (home delivery) information:

• Preorder period: 8/30 (Wed) 18:00 ~ 10/29 (Sun) 23:59 (JST)
• Scheduled delivery: early December 2023

⚠️Note on returns of defective items⚠️

According to the official website, there were printing defects on Hatsune Miku x MINT HEIM official collaboration acrylic stands. Anyone who has noticed a defect (in the print on the background) can get their acryclic stand replaced (conditions apply – see below).

Conditions for exchanging acrylic stands:

Q: Which acrylic stands are affected?
A: Anyone who preordered an acrylic stand and picked it up in-store, or who bought one in-store between September 8th ~ 11th 2023

Q: What do I need to do to exchange my acrylic stand(s)?
A: Take a photo of the defective product(s) and send it as an attachment in an email addressed to [email protected]. If you have multiple defective items, send photos of all that are relevant. Make sure to include the method with which you purchased the item (preorder or in-store purchase) and the date you purchased/received it in the email.

Q: What’s the deadline for exchanging my defective merchandise?
A: You have from now until October 29th at 23:59 JST to claim your new acrylic stand. If no email is sent before this deadline, you will not be able to receive a replacement.

Q: When will I receive the replacement acrylic stand(s)?
A: They will apparently be shipped from late september onwards. If you do not have a Japanese residential address to send the items to, it is unlikely that you will be able to claim a replacement, so please keep this in mind!
