Tsuina-chan’s Synthesizer V AI Crowdfunding Campaign Now Live
It’s now December, and Tsuina-chan’s next crowdfunding campaign has commenced! This time, the money collected will be going towards development of her Synthesizer V and Synthesizer V AI voice banks! Read on to learn how you can help Tsuina-chan finally get her singing voice!
About the Crowdfunding Campaign
Tsuina-chan’s newest crowdfunder was first hinted at in late October before the very first anniversary of her VOICEROID2 product. What the purpose of the crowdfunder would be, however, was kept secret at the time.
However, perceptive fans remembered how the ‘Tsuikon’ costume design contest announced just one month prior was specifically challenging entrants to come up with a singing voice synth character outfit for her. Putting two and two together, those fans guessed that the next big crowdfunder could very well be for development of said singing software for Tsuina-chan.
Then came the announcement on October 30 from AHS and Dreamtonics about Synthesizer V AI, and among them was the confirmation that Tsuina-chan would be among the characters getting a new Synth V AI voice bank! Her official tweets even started including the #SynthV, #SynthesizerV, and #SynthesizerVAI hashtags!
Then soon afterwards on November 1, 2020, VOICEROID2 Tsuina-chan’s first anniversary, she confirmed that the December 4, 2020 crowdfunding campaign is indeed for development of her brand new Synthesizer V AI voice bank! The explanatory video below was even uploaded on YouTube and Niconico Douga that very day!

If it reaches it’s initial goal of ￥5,000,000 JPY by 11:59 PM on January 10, 2021, then AHS will develop and distribute Synthesizer V Tsuina-chan!
According to the crowdfunding page, Tsuina-chan has always dreamed of performing on stage like an idol ever since she was little, but could only watch them on video sharing sites while in the hospital due to having a weak body. But then the Tsuina-chan project was officially started by Saki Ohenri in January 2011. Ohenri was influenced by the then-new cultural movement surrounding VOCALOID and Hatsune Miku, and created his own character in the form of Tsuina-chan in hopes that she could someday also become a virtual singer and icon.
Now, almost ten years later, Ohenri and Tsuina-chan’s wishes are about to come true! With everyone’s help and donations, this crowdfunding campaign can finally turn Tsuina-chan into the idol that she always dreamed of being!
How To Sign Up for CAMPFIRE
Of course, you’ll need a CAMPFIRE account in order to donate to the campaign. You can follow these steps to set one up!
First, visit CAMPFIRE’s homepage and click on where it says 新規会員登録 (“New member registration”). You can also click here to go directly to the English signup page.
Next, choose to sign up with either (1) your email address, or (2) your social media service of choice.
If you choose to use an email address, then enter it and click on 確認メールを送信 (“Send confirmation email”), then check your inbox for the email from CAMPFIRE. When you receive the email, open it and click on メールアドレスを認証する (“Confirm email address”) to complete signup.
Finally, follow the provided steps to complete registration. You may have the option to display the steps in English if there is a button that says “English” on the right side of the page for you to click on.
Goals and Stretch Goals
First Goal:￥5,000,000 JPY
If reached, Tsuina-chan’s Synthesizer V Standard Version will be developed
Stretch Goals
￥6,000,000 JPY: 100 extra voice samples will be recorded (for a total of 200 voice samples)
￥7,000,000 JPY: Tsuina-chan’s Housoushi ver. 3D model will be developed
￥8,000,000 JPY: Tsuina-chan’s School Uniform ver. 3D model will be developed
￥9,000,000 JPY: Tsuina-chan’s Idol ver. 3D model will be developed
※All 3D models will be usable in Recotte Studio and Charamin Studio
Second Goal: ￥10,000,000 JPY
If reached, Tsuina-chan’s Synthesizer V AI Version will be developed
※If the campaign reaches ￥15,000,000 JPY, another stretch goal will be added
※If the campaign nears ￥20,000,000 JPY raised, a third voice variation may be added

※In cases where you have the option to give your name or preferred nickname to be read aloud by Tsuina-chan or her friends, you must type your name in the remarks box (備考欄) exactly as you desire it to be read (e.g. with honorifics like “-chan/-kun”).
If you do not type anything in the remarks box, Tsuina-chan will call you “[full name]-han” by default.
You must also type your name in Japanese kana for it to be read. We recommend using a name converter if you do not know how to type your name in Japanese.

The crowdfunding campaign has now reached over ￥7,500,000 JPY raised! So now, not only is development of Tsuina-chan’s Synthesizer V voice bank guaranteed, but she’ll even get 100 new voice samples recorded, and her Housoushi ver. 3D model made for Recotte Studio and Charamin Studio!
So having met the first stretch goal of the crowdfunder, Tsuina-chan then thought of ways to get ideas for more voice samples to create. That’s when she came up with the idea of letting fans do the thinking, and coming up with lines they want to hear Tsuina-chan and Goki say!
