Hatsune Miku Promotional Poster for the #KeepSafeFor Campaign
Last year, we reported on how Hatsune Miku was appointed as an official Coronavirus Prevention Supporter in Japan. Today, we get to see the digital diva playing her part in encouraging fans everywhere to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. Read on to learn how!
#KeepSafeFor Campaign
On February 5, 2021, Japan’s Cabinet Secretariat for Coronavirus Infection Control Measures started a new campaign called #KeepSafeFor. In this campaign, everyone is encouraged to post pictures on social media with the hashtag, showing what or whom it is that we each hold precious and are willing to make changes in our lives for. It can be a friend, a family member, a pet, something from work, a food you enjoy, an activity you love, etc., and the day when you can return to doing and seeing them all again!

And as for Miku’s role in the campaign, a special poster has been put up for download on the official site! The poster features an illustration of Miku by KEI wearing a face mask and expressing “…so that I can see everyone’s smile again…”
