New Details for Game Mikucolle “Re:Merge”, Booth at Magical Mirai 2026 Announced

A new article from Japanese news outlet PR Times has provided us with some minor updates relating to the upcoming sequel to popular mobile game Hatsune Miku Graphy Collection:

We now know the following information:

Title (EN*): Hatsune Miku Graphy Collection – The Mysterious Music Comet Re:Merge
Release Date: Autumn 2026
Price: Base game will be free (in-game purchases will be present, same as previously)
System: iOS / Android

The main promotional art was illustrated by 紅茶マジ太郎 / Kocha Maji Taro.

As of writing, the genre and further details will be released at a later date.

The new promotional art is really cute, and suits the world of Mikucolle very much, but it makes me a little sad that 7:24 / Inukai‘s iconic art style won’t be present any more. It helped turn Mikucolle into a uniquely whimsical, bright and colourful world, and she not only drew the piapro characters for the game, but also designed the new characters, enemies, landscapes and items (you can see some examples in my previous post on the topic).

Perhaps her art will still find its way into the game somehow, similar to how the cards you collected in the original game featured illustrations from a plethora of notable Vocaloid artists of the time.

The article also mentioned that visitors to Magical Mirai 2026 exhibitions in Hamamatsu, Osaka and Tokyo could receive free Mikucolle-themed goodies (see below for how to get them yourself)!

A: Follow these steps:

1a. Sticker: Follow the official Mikucolle Twitter account (@mikucolle)
1b. Fan: Follow the official Crypton Digital Contents Team Twitter account (@cfm_mobile)

2. Head to the Crypton Digital Contents Team (クリプトン・デジタルコンテンツチーム) official booth

3. Show your screen to staff, proving that you’re following the account(s), and receive your free merch (while stocks last)!

Visitors to Magical Mirai should definitely check out the Crypton Digital Contents team booths to grab their free merch while they wait for more updates! VocaSphere member Marumain said he’d do his best to check out the booth at Tokyo and snap some photos, so here’s hoping we get some updates on that at the end of the month. I really hope Mikucolle’s revival will be a success both inside and outside of Japan this time around, and I’m looking forward to more updates coming soon! I also noticed after checking the links below that the official Mikucolle website seems to be down. Perhaps it’s being updated but as of this post’s publication date it’s inaccessible unless you use Wayback Machine. The last recording of the website was April 12th. The website has some cute profile pictures you can download, so definitely check it out!

About Mikucollle: Hatsune Miku Graphy Collection – The Mysterious Music Comet was a mobile game featuring the piapro characters, which started service in October 2014. Featuring the piapro characters, as well as a host of new faces, the game was an RPG card battle game where players would collect cards and make them stronger to defeat enemies to bring sound back to the world. The game eventually shut down in June 2020.
