Red Feather Community Chest x piapro Contest 2021 Has Begun
After the much excitement and enjoyment of last year’s Red Feather Community Chest x Hatsune Miku contests, it was only natural to bring the iconic collaboration back for the charity’s tenth anniversary!
What is the Red Feather Community Chest, though?
They are a charity organization which aims to help all of those in need, especially during disaster relief! They operate all across Japan and hold drives, such as this, to encourage donations among other ways to support towards people who need help. You an recognise them by their red feather logo!
Here we’ll explain how you can get involved, and potentially be a factor in supporting such a wonderful charity!

And make sure to tag lock (タグロック) whichever one you’re using (either at this point or after you’ve uploaded the work). To do this, once you’ve finished uploading your artwork, go to the said uploaded work and click on the blue cog above it. Click on the lock icon next to the appropriate tag to tag lock it.
Make sure not to license your entry
Cautionary Points
- Amount of submissions allowed: one entrant can enter as many times as they like, but only one entry can be chosen to win at the end of the competition overall.
- Licensing: Do NOT set a license for your entry. Licenses cannot be changed after posting your entry, so the only way to change this would be to delete and re-upload your entry
- Your entry must NOT have been published anywhere else or entered into any other previous competitions.
- The final day of submitting competition entries, the website may face an influx of entries which can cause delays to uploading posts. Therefore please try to upload entries slightly earlier than June 1st 2021 to avoid this. Anything posted after the entry deadline will NOT be eligible for participation.
- It might be necessary for the contest organizers to crop your design.
- It might be necessary for the contest organizers to shorten or omit your entry title.
- Entries must be the work of a single individual; entries created by companies or a group of people are not allowed.
- Make sure to not change your email address after completing your entry.
- You are solely responsible if claims are filed against your entry for infringing on the rights of any third party. The contest organizers bear no responsibility.
- Your nickname that will be displayed with your entry will be the one that you set at the licensing step. If a name is not set, then your piapro nickname piapro ID will be displayed instead.
- Anyone underage will need permission from a parent or guardian to join in with the competition. Being “underage” should depend on the law where you live, since the page lists “18” as being an adult, while “20” is cited as the age of becoming an adult in Japan.
- If you are selected to win, all following correspondence will be in Japanese. Hence why you will most probably need to have a reasonable knowledge of the language if you decide to enter the competition (you may be consulted about any potential alterations to the design etc. so please be keep this in mind).
As previously noted, winners will be announced sometime around August according to the competition website, and also announced on the piapro blog. Please be sure you have an up-to-date email where they can contact you in case you do win!
We look forward to seeing what fans are able to come up with for the tenth anniversary of the collaboration!
