Project SEKAI: Colorful Broadcast Episode 3 Overview

project sekai colorful broadcast 3

After some initial problems with the scheduled June 24th broadcast, episode 3 of Colorful Broadcast was aired on June 25th starting at 8:00 PM (JST) with Tomomi Jiena Sumi and Akina as hosts!

Watch it below, and read on for an overview of the new announcements!

Q&A Corner

For the past few weeks, the development team has been taking questions about the game that fans tweet with the hashtag #セカイの質問箱, and several of them were answered during this Colorful Broadcast.

Q: Will the game be playable on tablets?

A: Yes, the developers plan for the game to be playable on tablets as well. There will naturally be some devices that fall out of the recommended specs for the game, though. More details will be announced later.

Q: Will there be merchandise made available for sale later? Keep up the good work, dev team!

A: That’s a very nice message! And if fans express a lot of interest and support for them, then character merchandise is certainly a possibility someday.

Q: Will the release points for Hold notes have accuracy ratings? Have there been any adjustments made in the β-test with regards to the notes?

A: Yes, there will be accuracy ratings for Hold notes. The dev team received a lot of feedback and opinions from the closed β-testers, and to make the game easier to play, they’ve implemented a lot of adjustments to how accuracy ratings for notes are determined and more.

Q: Among the Project SEKAI cast, which characters are gamers?

A: The biggest gamer is Nene of Wonderlands×Showtime! She’s fond of competitive games and enjoys competitive solo play in online games. Toya of Vivid BAD SQUAD also likes going to game centers.

Q: The 3DMVs for Roki and some other songs have been revealed, but are the characters who appear in each position set in stone?

A: No, they are not set in stone. Although the original unit members are set to appear in 3DMVs by default, before you play, there will be a button that you can press to change which members appear in which position in the MV. For example, in the SEKAI version of Roki, Ichika is the guitar-vocalist, Miku is the guitarist, Shiho is the bassist, etc. in the 3DMV by default, but players can make it so that Rin appears in the guitar-vocalist position instead!

Q: Are you planning any surveys for other songs to add to the game?

A: The dev team has in fact recently started such a survey on Twitter! Fans could tweet their song requests with the hashtag #セカイ楽曲リクエスト which was even trending for a time! Here’s a look at some of the many songs that were requested.

Among these songs, there are some that have already been confirmed for the game! Stay tuned for announcements on which ones made the cut!

Vivid BAD SQUAD Songs

After the questions, the hosts re-confirmed that Giga would be making an original song for Vivd BAD SQUAD that fans can look forward to hearing.

Then next, several songs were revealed to be covered by Vivid BAD SQUAD in the game, including a newly announced one!

We were even treated to a sneak peak at the 3DMV for フラジール / Fragile, covered by Akito and Toya. Expect an animated video for it to be revealed soon!

Thus concludes the latest Colorful Broadcast. Look forward to episode 4 which will be covering Wonderland x Showtime with Hirose Daisuke and Machico as hosts!
