ブリキノダンス / Buriki no Dance 3DMV Screenshots
It was revealed back on June 16th that ブリキノダンス / Buriki no Dance (Tin Plate Dance) by 日向電工 / Hinata Denkou would be in the game.
And now we know that it will be covered by Wonderlands x Showtime in the game, specifically by Len, Tsukasa and Rui! The trio was even shown in screenshots for its 3DMV that were revealed during the show! Expect to see it fully animated soon!
Wonderlands x Showtime Cover Songs
After this came the reveal of another song that will be covered by Wonderlands x Showtime, making for three known cover songs for the eccentric show unit!

VOCALOID Song Memories
Next came a very special corner. Since June 18th, fans were encouraged to tweet a special VOCALOID song memory that they hold with the hashtag #ボカロ曲の思い出, and some of these tweets were read during the show! Here’s what Daisuke and Machico read for us.
When I first heard METEOR, it sounded so amazing that I cranked the volume on my speakers way up, and when I woke up the next morning, I found a note on my door saying, “The volume was so loud that I could clearly hear what song it was. Next time, I’m reporting you.”
And the thought that came to mind was, “If they know METEOR, then we should become friends!”
Many years ago, I was selected to represent my school in a prefectural speech contest. On the day before the competition, I was so nervous and anxious with my heart beating out of my chest that as I practiced reciting my speech, I would sing one of the super fast VOCALOID songs.
In the end, I won the competition and went on to represent my prefecture in the Tokyo speech contest. To this day, I’m thankful for how VOCALOID and music were there to calm me down back then.
Hatsune Miku was released when I was in high school, and the first song of hers that I ever heard was supercell’s メルト / Melt!
I stored a ton of Miku’s songs on the minidisc player I used back then and listened to them every day on the way to school. So Miku’s songs are very much like memories of my adolescence.
A lot of VOCALOID songs have been made since then, but the ones from the late 2000’s are the songs that I love to listen to even now.
During class one day, the alarm on my phone – which was set to play this song and wouldn’t stop until I shake my phone 30 times – suddenly went off! So one of my memories for this song is of me shaking my phone like crazy while listening to it.
In 2015, I got to watch a Magical Mirai concert at the Budokan.
After the concert, while I was still enraptured by the show, I joined several other remaining audience members in cheering to the music of Hand and Hand that was still playing. And when the concert organizers actually turned up the music for us, I was ecstatic!
悪ノ娘 / Aku no Musume (Daughter of Evil) / 悪ノ召使 / Aku no Meshitsukai (Servant of Evil)
The impact that I got from hearing these electronic-sounding voices harmonizing with a narrative-style song is akin to what you get from watching a grandiose puppet theater show. These were the songs that got me listening to VOCALOID music.
ロミオとシンデレラ / Romeo & Cinderella
It’s thanks to this song that I fell in love with VOCALOID. After that, I wanted to meet my beloved Miku and her friends so much that I made every effort to come Japan from Taiwan and am now the happiest I could possibly be!
Back in middle school, I would compete with members of the art club over who could sing more of 裏表ラバーズ / Uraomote Lovers.
I would always get stuck on the second “taigai wa aimai na innocent na daisaigai wo furimaita” part, and lose.
When I first moved to Tokyo, VOCALOID music was what helped me get over my loneliness. I did things like attend my first offline meeting of メルト / Melt fans, or seriously practice singing 桜ノ雨 / Sakura no Ame as part of a virtual choir…
Even now, VOCALOID music serves as a motivational force for creativity.
1-Panel Comic
After Machico’s run with the game, there was this little 1-koma comic that briefly appeared before her results screen.
Airi: “You collect penguin merchandise, right? I bet your room must look amazing”
Haruka: “Well… I suppose so, like a mini South Pole”
Airi: “A mini South Pole…”
New 3D Outfit and Card Illustration
Finally, viewers were treated to some art reveals!
First came a 3D version of buzz‘s outfit for Miku! You can see it below, and review the artist’s commentary on the outfit here.
Then lastly came a new ★3 post-training card illustration for Len, looking like a card for his Vivid BAD SQUAD self!
And that wraps up the fourth Colorful Broadcast! The next one will be the final episode, covering 25 o’clock by Night Code with Rui Tanabe and Hinata Sato!
