Content for this article was made possible thanks to our partners at Project SEKAI English Community
It’s now March and almost Miku Day (March 9), and also almost the half-year anniversary for Project SEKAI Colorful Stage! feat. Hatsune Miku! There will no doubt be a lot of additions, updates, and changes coming very soon to the already massive mobile rhythm game, but that doesn’t mean regular updates and events will stop coming; quite the contrary!
We’ll continue rounding up all the updates, big and small, so readers can continue to look forward to lots more Project SEKAI coverage! And with that, on to a summary for the past week of updates!
※All translated content below are unofficial translations
Select List Gacha
Starting on Feburary 25, the Select List Gacha was made available! For 3000 Paid Crystals, players could make one 10-gacha pull with one guaranteed ★4 member card selected at random from a custom list of 10 desired members!
Gacha period: February 25th, 3:00 PM ~ March 3rd, 2:59 PM (JST)
Cost: 3,000 Paid Crystals
That gacha is still going on, so anyone who is just learning about it or need help understanding how to use it, read on!
On the gacha page, tap on セレクトリスト (Select List) circled below.
Tap on any ten ★4 member cards that you would like to pull, and they will be added to the line at the top of the screen. You can also tap on the cards already selected to remove then from the list, and replace them with others.
※You must select 10 cards; no more, no less
※The cards with the words 獲得済 displayed over them are ones that you already own
Remember that some member cards come with outfit unlocks.
To see if a card come with an outfit, tap and hold on it to bring up its member details screen. If there is a tab that says ボーナス詳細 (Bonus details), you can tap on it to see the outfits that pulling the card unlocks.
Then return to the main page, and perform a 10-gacha pull. One of those pulls is guaranteed to be one of the ten cards that you selected!
Some rules to be aware of:
- Only ★4 members that have been available in the game before January 31 at 3:00 PM (JST) can be selected in this gacha
- You can only play this gacha with paid crystals
- You can play this gacha only once
- All members will come in their pre-training state
- Some members you pull may be duplicates of ones you already own
- Those duplicates will automatically be sent to the Waiting Room (控え室)
- The chances of each member appearing are reset for each and every pull. For example, a member with a drop rate of 1% is NOT guaranteed to appear at least once if you pull 100 times
- In this 10-pull gacha play, if a ★4 member does not appear in the first 9 pulls, then the 10th one is guaranteed to be one of the ★4 members that you selected
- The members that you see on the gacha page are just samples; not necessarily all of them will be selectable
- Please see the drop rate tab (提供割合タブ) for each member’s individual drop rate
- You can see each selectable member’s parameters and skills on the Select List page
- Once played, this gacha will no longer be available
- Even if you lose connection while playing the gacha and the results screen does not appear as normal, you will still receive the members that were pulled in it. Find them in your members list or Waiting Room
- You cannot get Gacha Seals in this gacha
- The gacha schedule is subject to change without notice
Best of luck to all players!
New Event: “Smile of Dreamer”
Event Period: February 28th, 3:00 PM (JST) ~ March 8th, 8:59 PM (JST)
Event Bonus Type: Mysterious
Event Bonus Members:
- Otori Emu
- Kusanagi Nene
- Tenma Tsukasa
- Kamishiro Rui
- Kagamine Len (Wonderlands×Showtime ver.)
The members of Wonderlands×Showtime are getting pumped for the final round of the Show Contest, intending to take first place against the Phoenix Stage! However, Emu then learns that her brothers and father intend to conduct a full-scale overhaul of Phoenix Wonderland in order to attract more customers and expand business, which includes demolishing existing rides and attractions!
Wanting to preserve her grandfather’s vision of Phoenix Wonderland as a place where memories and smiles are created, how does the idealistic Emu react, and how will she seek help to change their minds, if at all? Find out by playing “Smile of Dreamer” and reading the event story!
Smile of Dreamer continues a trend that we’ve been seeing in recent events like Period of Nocturne and Unsatisfying Pale Color in which the characters’ family members (often their fathers) are introduced. But Smile of Dreamer takes an extra step and also introduces Emu’s siblings! In this event, we learn that she has an older sister named Hinata, and two older brothers named Keisuke and Shousuke.
Combine them with the already numerous Virtual Singer characters in the Wonderland Sekai, plus the fact that Wonderlands×Showtime has more members than the other units (if you count NeneRobo), and this could be the event with the single largest cast of characters that we’ve seen yet!
After unlocking and reading the final chapter of the event story, you will even be able to watch and enjoy brand new area conversations with the Wonderlands×Showtime characters both in the real world and in the Wonderland Sekai!
New member Cards
Tradable for 5,000 Event Points: ★2 Tenma Tsukasa [Balloon Presenter]
Tradable for 15,000 Event Points: ★3 Kagamine Len [In the Best Possible Way]
“Fluffy☆Dreamland” Gacha
The Fluffy☆Dreamland gacha marks the debut of member cards that come with special hairstyles for their characters! These hairstyles can be unlocked by raising the Master Rank of the these member cards to Rank 2!
★4 Otori Emu [An Irreplaceable Smile]
Pulling this card will unlock the “Candy Wheel” costume, and leveling up the card’s Master Rank to Rank 2 will unlock Emu’s special hairstyle!
★4 Kusanagi Nene [Messenger of Feelings]
Pulling this card will unlock the “Coffee Cup Balloon” costume, and leveling up the card’s Master Rank to Rank 2 will unlock Nene’s special hairstyle!
★4 Kamishiro Rui [The Fire Within]
Because this is a Limited gacha with limited members, the Gacha Seal Exchange Tickets that can be acquired by trading gacha seals are also different. They are pink-colored and are specifically for saving Limited gacha seals.
And as you can see, they occupy a separate item space from the regular Gacha Seal Exchange Tickets in your inventory. Therefore, make sure to take care to exchange the right type of ticket for the right type of gacha seal that you wish to use in the future!
