Winner for the theme “Ghost” – Women
Title of work:「トリック・オア・ペイント」/ Trick or Paint
Design by ふわ太 (@fufufuwata)
Time it’ll be available in-game: October 2021
Judges comments:
You can clearly see that this is a design with the concept of “ghost(s)”, and what with the addition of the corset and shorts, it has resulted in an overall wonderfully cute look! The pink paint splash accents across the outfit create a charming look that’s not too dark with a fun vibe, which is why it was chosen as a winner for this month!
Other notable points from the artist:
- This outfit is based on the concept of a mischievous paint splattered ghost
- They tried to create a design which has a ghostly vibe, as well as having a mischievous look to it.
- Her nails are painted in an alternating pattern
- The plasters are in colours of the levels of difficulty
- There is a bat and ghost motif painted on her skin using body paint
- She has a heart-shaped brooch on her chest, over where the heart actually is!
- The lacing for the corset is done in a way that it looks like bones (the spine)!
- There’s a silk hat in the design of a paint bucket included
- The underside of the cape has no paint marks on it
- The cape has some pink cat pawprints on the back (visible part)
- One of the socks is a patchwork one
The artist also made a post to say thank you for choosing her design, and added some ideas for colourways too, featuring Rin:
Winner for the theme “Ghost” – Men
Title of work:「Phantom Crow」
Design by 隊長 (@taichous_prsk)
Time it’ll be available in-game: October 2021
Judges comments:
As you see the black and wine red colour scheme giving off a strong eerie ghost vibe, you notice the vertical lines across the whole outfit making it into an incredibly stylish look all round! We chose this one because we felt that the minute details, such as the inside of the coat (which you can’t usually see) and other accessories, make it a very appealing outfit.
Honourable mentions – Women
These are costumes that won’t be added to the game, but that the contest judges felt deserve recognition and appreciation! We won’t be translating everything to do with the following designs for now, but at least you get to see them, and can possibly use them as a reference for what the judges are looking for in these contests.

The winning designs (excluding honourable mentions) for the theme of “Ghost” will be featured as items as part of the Premium Mission Pass throughout October 2021*! Artists whose work is featured in the game will also be added to the game credits, and receive a 3,000 yen Amazon gift voucher!
Example of what the Premium Mission Pass looks like in-game for reference:
*Please note that the Premium Mission Pass is a pay-to-access feature. It costs 1960 yen for the whole month, and gives you “paid” crystals (x1800) and Virtual Coins (x1800). To unlock the outfit for Premium Mission Pass, you’ll need to earn approximately 25 Live Points before the end of the month. For other colourways of the featured outfit, you’ll need to earn 6000, 7000 and 8000 Live Points before the end of the given month.
Has looking at these costume designs got you in the mood for Halloween yet? If the answer is yes, then luckily you won’t have to wait long until the costumes will be formally added to the game in October! Which character do you think will suit these newest winning outfits? And what colour ways will be added? We’ll just have to wait and see!
