Introduction
The livestream began February’s news with a reminder that the game recently surpassed 3 million registered users! Who knows how many more it will have by the time it is half a year old!
Then came the usual challenge for us to get the show to become the number one trend with the hashtag #プロセカ生放送 on Twitter!
It took a little longer this time – no longer happening within a minute like the past several times, probably due to it having to compete with Cat Day posts – but it got there eventually, and now all players will be awarded with 500 Crystals soon!
ProSEKA News
Then it was on to the many, many news announcements!
Birthdays / Anniversaries and Holidays
Our March birthdays will be coming soon for Kohane (on March 2) and Airi (on March 19)! It has already been confirmed that they will both have Virtual Lives performed for them on their special days, that attending’s Kohane’s live will net players the HAPPY BIRTHDAY Kohane 3.2 title, and that the Kohane full outfit set for your Virtual Avatar will soon go on sale!
We presume that attending Airi’s live will yield similar rewards, so stay tuned for confirmation on that.
Next, it was confirmed that White Day will be observed in Project SEKAI, and like Valentine’s Day, it will also have an accompanying Virtual Live and login campaign!
Virtual Live dates: from 12:00 AM on March 14 through 11:00 PM on March 15 (JST)
Performers: Hoshino Ichika, Tenma Saki, Mochizuki Honami, Hinomori Shiho, Hatsune Miku, Kagamine Rin, Kagamine Len, Megurine Luka, MEIKO and KAITO
Attending the White Day Virtual Live will earn you a title. And if the login campaign is like that for Valentine’s Day, it will likely get you a holiday-themed Live Boost recovery item!
Stay tuned for all of our March celebrations once the new month rolls around!

Original Songs
After the announcements of the existing songs coming to Project SEKAI, we learn about two more original songs to be added to the game!
The first will be an original song by YASUHIRO for Wonderlands×Showtime, coming later this month!
Artist commentary:
“I’m YASUHIRO. Thank you for letting me write an original song for Project SEKAI. I hope this song helps energize players who enjoy having fun with everyone in Wondershow!”
And following that announcement came the confirmation that the next event in the game will be called “Smile of Dreamer,” and will be featuring Wonderlands×Showtime characters! The event will begin on February 28, the final day for YASUHIRO’s original song to be revealed, meaning it will almost certainly be the event theme song!
The next song is an original piece by DIVELA, written for MORE MORE JUMP!
Artist commentary:
“This is DIVELA. I’ve had the great honor of participating in this wonderful project called Project SEKAI. This song is about cheering on those who always face forward and progress on with all their heart, even when confronting obstacles!”
Each of the hosts and guests were super excited to introduce their songs, and were practically in pain holding their tongues so as to not reveal too much about them. At least they won’t have to hold back for long, as the time for the new songs to debut in the game will be here before we know it!
And speaking of new songs, we got to hear a sample of the one being composed by Itou Kent (voice actor for Toya) with OSTER project on arrangement!
You could really tell that Itou’s fellow voice actors and actresses were all super interested in knowing what his new song sounds like, seeing how intently they listened to the sample during the livestream! We even get to see how Itou looks during the creation process!
New Projects
And finally, we come to the announcements about brand new projects that fans will soon be able to enjoy in and out of the game!
After Talks
Following the current Unsatisfying Pale Color event on February 26, a brand new feature called Project SEKAI After Talks will begin!
For its pilot episode, we will get to hear Suzuki Minori (voice actress for Ena) talk live about the event! Stay tuned to the Project SEKAI YouTube channel at 9:30 PM on February 26 to listen to what she has to say, then enjoy the After Live with her at 10:00 PM!
It was also confirmed that the conclusion of the next event, “Smile of Dreamer,” will also have an After Talk streamed live for it! Stay tuned to learn whom we will be listening to, and what they will talk about!
Vivid BAD SQUAD Archive
The next new project will feature Vivid BAD SQUAD who will be singing various VOCALOID songs for us, even those covered by other units! These sessions will even be accompanied by short stories before and after the songs!
This project will being sometime in the middle of March, and for the first installment, fans will be able to enjoy the Kohane and An version of アスノヨゾラ哨戒班 / Asu no Yozora Shoukaihan, which is a Leo/need song in the game!
Stay tuned to the Project SEKAI YouTube channel to learn more in March!
And speaking of Leo/need, they’re front and center for the next new project called the SNS Post Project! On the official Project SEKAI Twitter account, they’ll be posting original illustrations that one would normally see on a friend’s social media account, and depict the daily lives of the Leo/need girls. These could be a nice supplement to the comics that are already depicting the daily lives of all the characters, and a nice gesture to Leo/need fans!

Future Livestreams
Almost Half Anniversary Livestream on Miku Day
Can you believe that it has almost been six months, half a year, since Project SEKAI was released on September 30, 2020? Well, it’s true, and March 30 will mark its half-year anniversary!
To get players ready, another livestream will be held on Miku Day (March 9) at 8:00 PM (JST)! In addition to making more half-year anniversary announcements, they will also be reading comments and answering questions that fans can ask on Twitter by tweeting their question with the hashtags #プロセカご意見箱 or #セカイのご意見箱! (Note: your question will have the best chance of being answered if you ask in Japanese)
Then right on March 30 at 8:00 PM (JST), the next Wondershow Channel will stream live as the official Half Anniversary Special! Expect tons of more information announced for the next half-year of service for Project SEKAI!
Contest News
Then came updates on the many different contests that went on or are going on! There is always a lot happening on this front, so summaries like these are always helpful!
2nd ProSEKA NEXT Song Contest Results
「花を唄う」/ Hana wo Utau (Singing of Flowers) by シノ / shino_mr4 is the winning entry of the second ProSEKA NEXT song contest, and we can expect it to be available in the game sometime in April!
See our past coverage about it here!
4th Project SEKAI Costume Design Campaign Results
The “Restaurant”-themed campaign for new outfits also had its winning entries by KOJIN and へぼ / Hebo announced and shown during the livestream!
See here for our past coverage on the contest for details!’
Update Information
For the next segment, Kondo Yuichiro appeared to talk about the next major update for Project SEKAI and what they will be adding!
Hair Style Changing
In an upcoming limited-time gacha, certain members will come with new hairstyles that you can change to if you manage to pull them and raise them to Master Rank 2! Which members they will be, and what kind of hairstyles they can wear, we can’t wait to see!
After Lives for Shuffle Events
Up to now, all After Lives have been for events in which all bonus members are from the same unit; there have been no After Lives for the “Shuffle” Events, which are the ones with bonus members from multiple units.
But that will soon change with the next update! Expect all events, even Shuffle ones, to get Virtual Lives, and presumably mix unit songs!
New Virtual Lives Features
Fans who follow us and other players on social media may have noticed people taking and posting screenshots from Virtual Lives after removing the UI and using their device’s screenshot function.
However, it will soon become even easier to take screenshots with the addition of a screenshot button that can remove the UI from Virtual Lives and the waiting area automatically for you! This should be great news to anyone who enjoys taking and posting Virtual Live screenshots on social media (we know that we’re thrilled about it)!
Secondly, remember all those benches that you see in the waiting area before a Virtual Live? Well, pretty soon, they won’t just be for show; your avatar will soon be able to actually sit in them while waiting for the Virtual Live to start!
Other System Improvements
- If new songs are added to the Music Shop, they will be shown to you first when you transition from the home screen to the game
- A Virtual Singer character’s sub unit will be shown on the gacha details screen
- The jacket illustration for some songs will change to match a different vocal version that you select
Bug Fixes
v1.5.0 on Februrary 25 at about 11:00 AM (JST) will:
- Fix a bug that prevents notification badges from disappearing after certain actions
- Fix a bug that shows the Event Bonus on the Results screen of a Challenge Live
- Fix a bug that prevents players from buying another Premium Mission Pass on the following month after buying one, depending on the timing of the purchase
- Fix a bug that shows the same other users when you perform certain actions at a Virtual Live venue
- Fix a bug that prevents matching to occur as it’s supposed to after performing certain actions upon creating a private room
- Fix a bug that shows a waitinglob area with its display glitched out, and prevents you from doing anything after performing certain actions on the waiting area or Virtual Live venue
- Fix a bug that causes thee screen to black out and prevent you from doing anything after enterting a live venue
v1.5.0 changes explained here.
Reminders
Finally, some reminders before the livestream ended.
Ongoing Event
The “Unsatisfying Pale Color” event is still going on in the game until February 26 at 8:59 PM (JST). It will then be followed by the After Talk and aforementioned After Live!
Nurimasu! Contest
The collaboration contest with Nurimasu! is also still going on, and will be accepting entries until February 24 at 11:59 PM (JST). You can search the hashtag #第十五回塗りマス on Twitter to see what has been entered so far!
Learn more about the contest here!
25-ji, Night Radio de.
The next 25-ji, Night Radio de. will available on Saturday, March 6 at 25:00 JST (or Sunday, March 7 at 1:00 AM JST), and there may be a brand new corner with Mafuyu this time around! Make sure to tune in to see what it is about!
Ongoing Contests
Both the third ProSEKA NEXT song contest, and the fifth costume design campaign are still going on, though design contest for Pirate-themed outfits will be ending very soon on February 28 at 5:00 PM (JST), so be sure to read about and catch up on it here!
And that concludes another jam-packed Wondershow Channel livestream!
There will be tons of changes and additions coming to both the game and the YouTube channel in the coming days as the 6-month anniversary of the Project SEKAI approaches! To think we were worried that there would be a drought in content after the Story Theater series ended this past week; we should have known that the media team would be hard at work to deliver brand new content in spades!
Stay tuned until the next major livestream on Miku Day 2021!
